Terms and Conditions
All goods supplied are on a hire basis only and title remains with Love Lane Events, hereafter known as "the Hiree". All goods hired from the Hiree will remain the property of Love Lane Events. "The Hirer" or "the Client" is the person(s) named on the booking. The Hirer takes responsibility for the goods under these terms and conditions. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the Hirer understands that all the hire items are their responsibility throughout the duration of the hire and should ensure that all equipment is secure and safe when using, transporting and storing. We recommend the Client takes out relevant event insurance for any event you plan and if you hire items also insure these items too.
For 2021 and 2022 bookings where Love Lane Events staff can access the event venues (pending Government guidelines regarding Covid-19) to set up equipment, the Hirer must advise if the event space is not on the ground floor, there is no lift access, there is a loading bay and parking space or any other scenario which could hinder or delay the process of delivering and setting up the equipment. Additional charges may apply if this information is not confirmed at the point of booking. These scenarios can greatly increase the time it takes to set up the equipment and could delay us getting to other events on the day so prior warning is important to the smooth set up of your event and out other clients. If collection is after 10.40 pm, late night collection fees are applied.
All Flower walls must be placed on a flat solid surface and if outside it must be positioned against a wall. Any loss, injury or damage resulting from improper use or moving the equipment once set up is full responsibility of the Hirer. We recommend the Client takes out relevant event insurance for any event you plan and if you hire items also insure these items too.
All goods hired will require 25% or 50% of the total invoice at the time of booking to secure the order and date (the % depends on the year of the wedding/event). This is non-returnable. The remaining balance is required to be paid four weeks prior of the event. A damage deposit is charged with the final balance. If the event is within four weeks of placing the booking, full payment inlcuding damage deposit is required to be made to confirm the booking. We do not accept cash.
Payment is required to secure the booking. If the balance payment is not received, the Hiree reserves the right to withdraw the quote and booking detailed on the invoice. Hiring of any items will not take place until full balance is paid. If you wish to arrange an extended hire period than originally agreed, please arrange prior to the event to check the Hiree availability. Unauthorised extensions will be charged a penalty plus extra hire fees. We recommend the Client takes out relevant event insurance for any event you plan and if you hire items also insure these items too.
The hirer will pay for any non-returned, damaged or broken items. A damage deposit is charged with the final balance. This will be repaid to the Hirer once all the items have been returned to the Hiree in a satisfactory condition. If any damage or loss is noted, the cost of this will be deducted from the damage deposit before any remaining deposit is paid back to the Hirer. If the damage exceeds the damage deposit amount a further invoice will be issued to cover the deficit which will require immediate payment in full from the Hirer. The Hirer is responsible for acquiring any necessary permission and consents in respect of the use of the hire item and ensuring the hire items are stored and used in accordance with all laws, guidelines and regulations. Please keep items away from heat sources as some items may be flammable. We recommend the Client takes out relevant event insurance for any event you plan and if you hire items also insure these items too.
We ask for all cancellations to be emailed to email@example.com as soon as possible. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the hire items. Our items are allocated to you at this point. If cancellation is one year to 2 months before the event 50% deposit is kept by Love Lane Events. If cancellation notice is made less than 2 months prior to hire date, the hirer will be liable for the full contracted price. If your event is within 6 weeks and is postponed due to a COVID-19 we will not charge a fee to move you booking to a new date within 12 months of the original date subject to availability. We recommend the Client takes out relevant event insurance for any event you plan and if you hire items also insure these items too.
The Client hereby gives permission for Love Lane Events to display any images and videos of equipment included in this contract in Love Lane Events marketing material, including case studies, literature, exhibitions, advertising, social media, competitions, magazines and on websites. No use of any of the images will be used for other commercial reasons.
Love Lane Events accepts no responsibility for any loss or injury caused by the use of any of the equipment. The Hirer will still be fully responsible for the hired goods even when dealt, handled or stored with by a third party. Any additions or alterations of the terms and conditions of this agreement shall be null and void unless agreed upon in writing by both parties.
We can assist with sourcing third party suppliers including donuts or chair providers. However, we are acting as an agent and accept no responsibility for these apart from the transporting of these if agreed and we are happy to provide the supplier details for you to contact directly.
All Flower and mesh walls must follow our guidance advice or applicable video and must be placed against a wall and on a flat surface.
When hiring the Floral swing chair or Peacock chair only one person at a time can sit on the chair due to health and safety reasons.
Charger Plates must never be put in a dishwasher and are not to be used as a plate. They are a decorative piece and can only be used to dress a table and place a dinner plate on. If cleaning is required, a clean damp cloth should only ever be used to wipe clean.
Stationary and Bespoke items
All bespoke and handmade items are non refundable (unless faulty). We will only include one artwork proof to be signed off by the Client. Should you require more artwork proofs or changes made then additional charges will apply.
Acceptance of goods and services from us implies that you have accepted our Terms & Conditions.
